Due to the principles of magnetism, thin metal objects like broken needles or slender rods can sometimes be missed because the signal weakens depending on the direction they enter the sensor gate. The double gate detection machine minimizes the chances of missing broken needles by allowing them to pass through two sensor gates at an ideal angle difference of 60°. This has enabled the detection of small broken needles that were previously overlooked by conventional detection machines. The double gate detection machine eliminates the need for double scanning, thus preventing errors.
